The title of this post says it all. Mom and grandma came down on Thursday night. Friday was a fun filled day of eating yummy food and of course shopping. We started out at Target and spent a good two and a half hours there. Then we met up with Greg and it was off to lunch at 25 Main (which is never a disappointment and if you have never been there you need to go). We ended lunch by sharing three delicious cupcakes. After lunch, mom and I were off to Tia Pan to buy decorations for our first Christmas tree. After about four hours we made it home just in time to head to dinner at Samurai 21. To finish off the day we came home and decorated the tree.

Closer look at the topOn Saturday we got going early again and shopped all day. We stopped once to eat lunch with Greg and then we were on our way again. We got home late that night and our feet hurt so bad. I think we hit every store in St. George. We had such a good time. My mom and I have not done anything like this for over 4 years. Thanks mom for coming down and spending a fun weekend with me.

Your tree looks really good. Way better than mine. So now I have to hate you for a few days. I also see that you got a snowflake background. Does that mean you don't want a Lara original blog? 'Cause say so now....i'm not gonna work on it if you don't need it. (but it is kind of awesome....so far....just sayin')
I'm jealous that you got a whole weekend to yourself. I need one of those! Maybe that's what I'll ask for on my birthday too. But 'cept I want NO kiddos. That would be a real gift!!
I love your tree! I love the classic red and green colors!! No one uses those colors on their tree anymore..

Is Mom sporting a "holiday" sweater in that photo?? Holy Crap! We need to hook her up with Scott Calvin and have her sing a holiday version of Shania Twain. That oughta get her a man!!

What a fun Birthday. Shopping with Babs is the best. I love the tree, so CUTE!!! I'm with Lara a need a whole weekend with Babs with no kids, that would be awesome.
What? You have your Christmas tree up already? It's not even Thanksgiving yet. Are you also playing Christmas music? So, so shameful. It does look nice though. On second thought, maybe I'll get mine out too.
